PTE
PTE stands for Pearson Test of English Which is a computer based English proficiency for students and migration application across the world. This format of test is accepted by universities in the USA, UK, and Australia amongst other.
It is created by Pearson languages tests and endorsed by GMCA (Graduate Management Admission Council) owners of GMAT (Graduate Management Assessment Test). During the three hour test session there are three main parts the test: speaking and writing (together), listening, reading. A 10-minute optional break between the reading and listening parts. A test taker is given twenty different question formats, ranging from multiple choices through to essay writing and interpreting information.
PTE Academic assesses real-life, academic English and a student will hear excerpts from lectures and graphs and charts .The Range of accents will be heard from British, American to non-native Speakers.
